P I T T  M E M O R I A L  H O S P I T A L  F O U N D A T I O N  B O A R D  C H A I R S

          The Pitt Memorial Hospital Foundation is the fund-raising arm of the health system. It is led by a volunteer board whose members spearhead a variety of philanthropic projects throughout eastern North Carolina. The Foundation has, for instance, sponsored the Children’s Miracle Network Telethon and raised over 4.5 million dollars for the Hope Lodge in Greenville, North Carolina. It has also purchased equipment for various hospital programs and provided defibrillators for fire trucks and police cars in Pitt County.
