Administrative History

Position created as Dean of Academic Affairs in 1967 with the development of the Division of Academic Affairs. The duties had previously been performed by the Dean of the College. As the division has grown the title has changed to Provost in 1971, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs in 1977 and to the current title in 2003. Dates: 1967-present

Subseries 1   BD-119 Academic Salary Increases   1986

BD-119 reports showing tenure status, faculty name, rank/title, position number, base salary previous fiscal year, amount of increase, salary base for current fiscal year and remarks. The report is placed on file at the library circulation desk for one year and then transferred to the University Archives for permanent retention. Not all reports show Medical School faculty.
